Industry Veteran to Spearhead SGI’s Business Growth in Asia Pacific
FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SGI (NASDAQ:SGI), a global leader in HPC and data center solutions, today announced the addition of Philip Chua as managing director and vice president of Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). With strong sales leadership skills and management experience, Chua will be responsible for shaping and growing SGI’s APJ sales organization, and will report to Tony Carrozza, senior vice president of worldwide sales.

Chua has had an extensive career spanning 30 years in the IT industry in a variety of leadership positions. He has produced outstanding results in managing large businesses, partnering with strategic customers, building channel networks and developing talent on his teams. His responsibilities cut across a number of industries, product categories and customer types in executive roles. In recent years he served as the vice president for HP TSG (now HP Enterprise Business) sales as well as Enterprise Services in China.
