NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American International Underwriters (AIU), a leading global property-casualty insurance network of companies, today named Rob Kuchinski as President of Global Energy Property Division. Formerly Profit Center Manager for on- and off-shore Energy operations in the UK/Ireland region, Mr. Kuchinski is a seasoned executive who has been with the company for 9 years. Mr. Kuchinski will be responsible for managing the global property book and will report to Ralph Mucerino, Chief Operating Officer of AIU and President of Global Marine and Energy.

Mr. Kuchinski has been in the property insurance business for 23 years, during which he specialized primarily in the Energy sector in both engineering and underwriting. He has held a variety of positions during his tenure with the company, including Chief of Staff for Global Marine and Energy, prior to his most recent role. Before joining the company, Mr. Kuchinski worked for 10 years at Hartford Steam Boiler in various engineering, underwriting, and management positions. He began his career as a Mechanical Engineer with Factory Mutual in 1986. Mr. Kuchinski holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University.
