SEOUL, South Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The 2025 Spring K-Royal Culture Festival, hosted by the Royal Palaces and Tombs Center of the Korea Heritage Service (Director Lee Jaepil) and organized by the Korea Heritage Agency (President Choi Young-chang), will open reservations for programs designed specifically for international visitors on March 27 at 10:00 AM (KST) through Creatrip (www.creatrip.com).

Now in its 11th year, the K-Royal Culture Festival is Korea’s largest cultural heritage celebration, taking place across the Five Grand Palaces in Seoul—Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Deoksugung, Changgyeonggung, and Gyeonghuigung—as well as Jongmyo Shrine. The 2025 edition will run from April 26 to May 4 for a total of nine days.

In response to growing global interest in Korean culture and the rising numbers of international tourists, the festival is expanding its foreigner-exclusive program offerings from one last year to four this year. This move reflects the agency’s commitment to developing the festival into a world-class cultural event.

At Gyeongbokgung Palace, the “Time Travel: Sejong-A Journey Through The Night” program will run from April 26 to 30. This is a nighttime self-guided tour themed around the achievements of King Sejong. During the K-Royal Culture Festival, the northern area of Gyeongbokgung—including Hyangwonjeong Pavilion, Jibokjae Hall, and Geoncheonggung Palace—will be open for evening viewing for the very first time. The program is limited to 200 participants per session, with reservations required. Admission is KRW 10,000 per person.

At Changdeokgung Palace, the popular morning tour “Awakening the Morning Palace” will return from April 30 to May 4 with expanded sessions exclusively for foreign visitors. Originally introduced last year for Korean participants, the program received an enthusiastic response.

In the international sessions, French media personality Fabien Yoon will join as a walking guide, sharing stories of the palace’s history during a peaceful morning stroll. The tour will be conducted in English, and up to 40 participants can join per session through reservation. Admission is KRW 10,000 per person.

At Deoksugung Palace, a new program titled “The Emperor’s Dining Table” will be introduced from May 1 to 3. This culinary experience allows visitors to enjoy the cuisine of the Korean Empire while listening to historical stories. The program will be conducted in English and is limited to 20 participants per session, with advance reservation required. Admission is KRW 10,000 per person.

At Changgyeonggung Palace, the program “Welcome, You in Hanbok” will be held from April 30 to May 4. Designed as a romantic palace date experience for couples, the program includes wearing traditional hanbok, exploring recommended palace routes, enjoying royal-style refreshments, and writing love letters. Each session allows 15 teams (2 people per team), and admission is KRW 20,000 per team.

More information about foreigner-exclusive programs for the 2025 Spring K-Royal Culture Festival is available on Creatrip (www.creatrip.com). Reservations for Korean participants will open separately on April 8 via Ticketlink.
