SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ServiceSource®, the global leader in cloud-enabled service revenue performance solutions, today announced the opening of a new global operations center in Kuala Lumpur, marking the company’s sixth international outpost and its second in the Asia Pacific region, after opening the doors of an expanded service center in Singapore earlier this year. The Kuala Lumpur operations facility will house over 100 employees and serve as a global business hub, focused on serving the data needs of clients worldwide.
“Our client base has doubled over the past couple of years globally, to well over $5 billion of service revenue under management, including many clients that we serve on a global basis,” said Mike Smerklo, chief executive officer of ServiceSource. “The goal of opening a global data operations center of excellence in Kuala Lumpur is to better serve our clients and enable ServiceSource to more rapidly scale up operations as we continue to grow.”
ServiceSource’s operational expansion into the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) market has been a long-term strategic initiative, aimed at solidifying the international brand and reaching new clientele.
“The rapidly evolving Asian market, as well as its proximity to ServiceSource’s regional headquarters in Singapore, made Kuala Lumpur the clear choice to expand our operations,” said Basheer Cassim, senior vice president and managing director, APJ. “We are looking forward to establishing yet another value-adding resource for both our clients and our operations teams in the region, while tapping the rich and highly skilled talent pool in Kuala Lumpur, a business epicenter.”
