HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stewart Global Solutions, a division of PropertyInfo Corporation, a Stewart company, has announced the promotion of Jill Urban-Karr to executive vice president. Urban-Karr handles market development activities in Africa, the Middle East, the Caucasus and Eastern Europe and brings more than 13 years experience to the position. She began her career at Stewart with Landata Geo Services, known today as Stewart Geo Technologies, Inc., and then joined the Stewart Global Solutions team.
Urban-Karr’s background includes extensive work in land registration, cadastre and real estate market modernization. Her efforts have been an integral part of multi-participant e-Government and land tenure/land administration projects for public and private sector throughout the world including: Costa Rica, Romania, Egypt, Madagascar, Benin, Bulgaria, Croatia, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Belize, Bermuda and others.
Urban-Karr, a widely-recognized industry expert with numerous articles and presentations to her name, appeared last week as a panelist at the Global Land and Poverty Summit, held in Washington, D.C. The trade show, brought together world thought leaders and decision makers to create low-cost, practical solutions for healthy, sustainable societies, and was sponsored in part by Stewart Global Solutions.
