DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ASIS 2010 -- Jupiter Systems, the leading worldwide supplier of display wall processors for command and control applications, announces shipment of its new Fusion CatalystTM products to installations in the U.S., Western Europe, and Russia. The first shipment was made to Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA), based at Camp Pendelton, CA. MCTSSA is the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) Systems Engineering Interoperability, Architecture, and Technology (SIAT) center for the United States Marine Corps. Other systems from the new Fusion Catalyst product line have been shipped to commercial users in Europe and Russia.

High Performance, Seamless Transition
Fusion Catalyst processors deliver superior performance with up to 192 Gbps of internal bandwidth that can carry a vast number and variety of video signals, and drive ultra-high resolution displays. It offers an extraordinary range of flexibility and can handle up to 376 analog or streaming SD video inputs, up to 94 DVI/VGA or HD component video inputs, and up to 96 graphic outputs, all controlled by a powerful drag-and-drop user interface. This immense configuration space is unique in the industry. Moreover, Fusion Catalyst is the only processor to handle dual-link DVI (up to 2560x1600 resolution) on both input and output. In addition, Fusion Catalyst offers the reliable 24/7 system availability and hot swappable components that Jupiter pioneered and its customers have come to expect.
Fusion Catalyst sets a new industry standard with an extremely broad configuration space, high performance and stunning video quality, yet it does so at a new, lower price point. It runs the same powerful, feature-rich ControlPoint software, which means drop-in compatibility and no new training requirements. As a result, customers with existing Fusion installations can upgrade easily to all the benefits of Fusion Catalyst.
The Fusion Catalyst processors can be used in both large and small projects. And, since every Fusion Catalyst model includes powerful Intel-based PC's, applications can be run directly on the controller for display locally on the video wall. Hundreds of small windows can be opened and spread across any portion of the wall. Alternately, a large window can be created allowing an application to occupy every pixel on the wall.
