Rickman, Esq. will be the partner in charge of HSNO’s Corporate Investigation and Compliance Practice and General Counsel. Mr. Rickman has extensive experience conducting global corporate investigations, performing compliance risk assessments and training, and representing clients against allegations of securities fraud and government enforcement actions. Mr. Rickman will lead internal corporate investigations, design compliance risk assessments, and perform compliance reviews and audits.

Mr. Rickman comes to HSNO from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP’s Washington, D.C. office where he was a counsel in the international government enforcement litigation group and criminal and civil litigation practice. His practice focused on conducting internal corporate investigations and representing clients in complex securities, accounting fraud cases and government enforcement actions.
He has conducted global investigations for companies with issues arising under the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and under the economic sanctions laws administered by the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Asset Controls. Mr. Rickman has performed investigations and training for clients in all sectors, including oil and gas, pharmaceutical, financial and automotive. He is a frequent speaker on compliance, due diligence and enforcement issues.
Mr. Rickman received his Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from the University of Kentucky College of Law and is licensed in multiple jurisdictions.
Mr. Rickman will be based in HSNO’s Washington, D.C. office.
