Clinical Solutions and Apollo Hospitals Group have announced that they are partnering to offer a health advice call centre and triage service in India, incorporating IntefleCS? telephone triage software.

The service (Health4UDirect), which was officially launched in February by Mr Yedyurappa the Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka, will deliver around the clock access to healthcare and advice.

Apollo is the largest privately held healthcare group in India, with over 10,000 beds across 43 hospitals in India and overseas. Apollo also provides neighbourhood diagnostic clinics, an extensive chain of pharmacies, medical BPO and health insurance services.

The service, which will also be extended to include integrated internet based healthcare services, will initially be offered to Apollo's own patients before being rolled out to various state governments, consumers, insurers and other healthcare providers.
