Oslo Business for Peace Award focuses international attention on ethical business practice
OSLO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On May 14th 2009, the Oslo Award will be handed out for the first time to a business leader whose actions and commitments have made an outstanding contribution to the promotion of ethical behaviour and peace. The press is invited to participate during the day.
At 08.00 AM, May 14th 2009, the press is invited to a briefing on the event by Per Saxegaard, the founder of the Business for Peace Foundation in the City Hall of Oslo, in the Munch Room.
During the day the following candidates will be present in the City Hall:
- Mr Anders Dahlvig, CEO IKEA (SWEDEN)
- Dr Mo Ibrahim, mobile communications entrepreneur (SUDAN)
- Ms Josephine Okot, Founder of Victoria Seeds (UGANDA)
- Mr Mohammed Jameel, President of Abdul Latif Jameel Co, (SAUDI-ARABIA)
- Mr Jiang Jiangqing, head of the Investment and Commercial Bank of China (CHINA)
