Only Dishwasher Drain Pump with No Cavitation Noise
HONG KONG -- (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Johnson Electric today announced a low noise drain pump and an energy efficient circulation pump for dishwashers. This improved pump performance is based on an innovative hydraulic design, combined with electronically commutated (EC) brushless motor technology. The new hydraulic design reduces the dishwasher noise level over the entire drain cycle and completely removes the most objectionable sound when the mixture of air and water creates cavitation noise.
Vibration that is typical of traditional pumps driven by synchronous and induction motors is minimized by intelligent control of the EC motor. These circulation and drain pumps provide 40% energy savings compared to traditional pumps, to support compliance of the latest energy standards for carbon footprint reduction.
"These new pumps address consumer demand for quieter dishwashers," said Jim Dick, Johnson Electric's senior vice president of Strategic Marketing. "Manufacturers are provided with a valuable differentiation opportunity," he added.
