RF Expert Collaborates with IPWireless to Deliver First State-Tuned iMAT^TM Antenna for Multiband LTE USB Modem

The design win is the first to leverage the new SkyCross ST-iMAT technology.

The SkyCross State-Tuned iMAT^TM antenna solution is a patented design approach that extends the award-winning performance of the company's Isolated Mode Antenna Technology (iMAT®), which permits a single radiating element to behave like multiple antennas. State tuning enables the MIMO performance of an iMAT® single radiating element to be applied across multiple frequency bands while simultaneously increasing radiated efficiency-without increasing the overall size of the antenna relative to conventional approaches.
