SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BroadLight, the leading supplier of fiber access processors, announced today that Billion Electric Co., Ltd. has recently selected BroadLight’s Helios embedded processor line as part of the development of their new Active Ethernet carrier class router product.

Billion’s new Active Ethernet Router designed with the Helios line of processors will deliver the carrier-class performance in a low cost design that meets carrier high performance service requirements.

Utilizing BroadLight’s gateway processors' superior performance and its unified software platform, Billion can roll out different models of the BiPAC 9300 gateway series, thus enabling quick, seamless competitive and short product turn around.
