Immervision, a Montreal-based developer of patented, wide-angle optic and imaging technology, filed patent infringement lawsuits against LG Electronics and LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc. in the Unites States District Court for the District of Delaware. The patent is generally related to wide-angle imaging technology in the areas of lens design and software-based image processing.
Immervision holds multiple patent families in imaging technology and has successfully enforced its patents in the past.
