TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, JAPAN (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and CEO: Hiroshi Takada; hereinafter, SME Support, JAPAN) will present the "SME Support, JAPAN Zone: Uruwashi Collection" at the 25th annual exhibition of International Jewellery Tokyo (IJT 2014), providing a venue to display merchandises and host business discussions on Japan's jewellery and technologies. The exhibition will be held at the Tokyo Big Sight from January 22 to 25, 2014.
In the Uruwashi Collection area, a presentation stage will be provided to showcase the beauty of carefully selected Japanese wares, in addition to a diverse variety of booths that will feature Japanese jewellery items such as internationally-popular Japanese Akoya pearls, elegant and graceful Maki-e (gold & silver lacquer ware), and traditional Urushi and metal carving. Joining these will be a range of products that leverage inventiveness, creative ability and technical prowess, as well as goods from jewellery designers working abroad.
Interpreters (English/Chinese/Korean) will also be stationed in the booths to assist visitors to establish global business networking connections.
IJT 2014 is Japan's largest jewellery exhibition, with 1,100 companies from 30 countries expected to exhibit during this 25th anniversary event. Plus, a lively atmosphere is anticipated at the Japan Best Jewellery Wearer prize award ceremony, scheduled to be held.
