SEOUL, South Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--At HKTDC Food Expo 2016 held for three days from August 11th to 13th, Ministry of Agriculture Food and Rural Affairs in Korea and aT Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp. take part in organizing Korean Pavilion.
Inspired by the color of Korean traditional clothes called Hanbok, Korean Pavilion presents promising Korean products including Kimchi, Dried Seaweed, Red Ginseng, Fermented Rice, Eggs, Yogurt, Ginseng Crisp, and Fruit Crisp from 50 Korean companies, and many exciting events are planned.
At the promotional booth named “TRENDY K-FOOD”, there are the events for food tasting of the most-beloved Korean cuisine and the trial on the new promising products under the theme: Trendy Korean Food. In particular, Special Cooking Show with celebrity chef is expected to be appealing to many participants.
The event, ‘Delicious K-Food’ will provide the cooking demonstrations for those, who are highly interested in Korean dishes, to learn how to make famous Korean dishes such as Stir-fried Rice Cake, Kimchi Pancake, Gimbap and traditional Korean tea including Citrus Tea, Ginseng Tea and all participants will be able to savor Korean food.
As well as this, the special recipes-invented by celebrity chefs with Korean beef, pork-are introduced at the event ‘Korea’s Special Live Stock Cooking Show'.
Lastly, there is MIRACLE K-FOOD to present the promising Korean products such as Shine Muskat, Grape, Processed Sweet Potatoes, Energy Gel, and Freeze Dried Baby Food.
The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation(aT) official said “All visitors will be able to enjoy various events as well as Korean products at Korean Pavilion of HKTDC FOOD EXPO 2016, I expect there will be so many participants in this expo.” He added “There is an event for the costume play of Yoo Si-jin, the leading character of Korean Drama ‘Descendants of the Sun’, and the photo zone where the visitors take a photo with the model in the costume.”
